With decades of executive leadership experience in Christian higher education, Dr. David Wright brings unmatched insight and empathy to the work of consulting and coaching. He served as President of Indiana Wesleyan University and has held a variety of senior leadership roles throughout his career—shaping strategy, nurturing leaders, and guiding institutions through growth, challenge, and change.
David founded Christian Education Services to offer faith-based institutions a trusted partner—someone who understands the weight of leadership and the importance of staying rooted in mission. Through personalized consulting and thoughtful guidance, David supports presidents, boards, and senior teams as they make strategic decisions with clarity and confidence.
More than a consultant, David is a listener, a coach, and a deeply faithful leader who walks alongside others with humility and purpose.
Russ Gunsalus
Founding Board Member, CES
Russ has served in Christian higher education and ministry leadership for over two decades. He was Executive Director of Education and Ministry Development for The Wesleyan Church, founding COO of Wesley Seminary, and a faculty leader at Indiana Wesleyan University. He’s also served on the boards of five universities and the Full Strength Network.
John Lee
Founding Board Member, CES
John brings over 30 years of executive experience to CES, with a background in corporate leadership at Praxair and deep involvement in global and community-focused ministries. He has served as Board Chair at Houghton University and currently serves on the boards of World Hope International and Jericho Road Community Health Center.
